All other insinuations aside, and even though everyone seems to wear sneakers these days, I would love to see the shoeshine service come back.
[FWIW, my BMW dealer/service had a lovely olde black gentleman, who would shine your shoes, if you were waiting for your car to be serviced.]

If more people wore shineable shoes, this would be much more of a thing. I suppose it would depend on the location of the airport and the time of day: when there are the most business travelers.
