The "socialization" of America continues apace.

It is hard to believe. The last recession did a lot brain damage. I've seen similar polls with the near 50/50 spit on ACA. Since half the population has some sort of chronic condition it would make sense they would want a fallback if they lose their coverage at work.

Yeah, and most Americans believe either that "the rich" would then be stuck paying the bill or, that the government could (should) simply print the money.

Most Americans would agree to accept free stuff if asked the right way. It's the things you don't include in the question that make the whole poll worthless.
