The Daily 202: The presidency is Hillary Clintons to lose. Here are 12 ways she could lose it.
By James Hohmann May 16
THE BIG IDEA:
The elites in Washington almost uniformly believe Hillary Clinton will be elected president in November. The conventional wisdom underlying coverage of 2016 is that Donald Trump will go down in flames and probably take the Republican Senate with him.
The presumptive GOP nominee has a well-documented history of misogyny, xenophobia and demagoguery. He has alienated women, Hispanics, Muslims, African Americans, Asian Americans and Native Americans. He has mocked the disabled, prisoners of war and Seventh-day Adventists. The speaker of the House and both living former Republican presidents are withholding endorsements.
It should be a slam dunk for HRC, right?
But, but, but: Six months is an eternity in politics, and a year ago no one in the chattering class including me believed Trump had any real shot at becoming the Republican standard-bearer. With Clinton struggling to sew up the Democratic nomination against a socialist septuagenarian shes expected to lose tomorrows Kentucky primary we cannot foreclose the possibility that she will botch the fall campaign against the billionaire businessman.
The presidency is hers to lose, but here are a dozen ways Clinton can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory:

The NY-Beltway Mainstream Media is VERY nervous about Hil’s prospects. This is not the only piece like this out there.
Excellent!!
That’s “no treble”.
I have a strong feeling that the powers that be will pull the plug on Hillary and pull a switcheroo at the last possible minute. She will either declare she is suddenly ill or an indictment will issued to force her out, and in will step another candidate. This was done successfully in New Jersey a few years ago when it was apparent the dem wasn’t going to win. If it is Biden, he will have missed all the debates and whistle stops where his buffoonery would have been glaring. He can be handled long enough to give the drowning socialists something to grasp for on election day.
If it is Biden, which I doubt it will happen, either one will go down in a sinking ship.
"Cruz at the top : OK
Trump at Commerce : should be given a bigger prize"
You betcha!

“The elites in Washington”
It amazes me to read into the mind of a DC liberal writer. Only this freak animal of left wing groupthink would say the 12th and last reason for her to lose would be the email scandal. They actually believe the garbage that Camp Clinton feeds them. That’s why they are dangerous to this country.
Actually the article list the very reasons Hillary will not be the next President regardless of what the Uniparty wants.
Only thing wrong with the article is the title, it should have been REASONS HILLARY WILL NOT BECOME THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE US.
I never believe that Trump was in for PR at any time.
I was more or less going along with his argument. At the time, Cruz did not look like a bad alternative. That was until he lost it completely once he started to lag far behind Trump.
In the current election cycle, this is a plus.
If the political climate was such that anyone had any respect for the opinions of the speaker of the House and both living former Republican presidents, Trump would have gotten nowhere.
Heck, the Clinton body count numbers in the hundreds. Many of them SS personnel who knew too much and ended up in plane crashes.
All they need to do is make it a close race.. after that, the electronic voting machine fraud will carry them over the finish line.
I have my doubts that this will even be a close election at all, this will be 1980 all over again. History has a way to repeat itself.
Now THERE is a prediction I can run with!
Add another one...
Most of the comments to the article are negative toward Clinton. Bernie supporters are ticked off and many won’t vote for her.
Seriously, if you have to compile a list like this then you should know that you have a seriously weak candidate. Amazing.
Could Hillary pick Bernie as a running mate?
Here’s the #1 way that Hillary can (and will) lose the election: BE HERSELF!
That’s all that is necessary, and everyone knows it. I had a friendly discussion with someone I know last night who is a Bernie supporter. She will (of course) vote for Hillary if she wins. When I told her, “Well, of course, you do know that Hillary can’t and won’t win, and that you’re going to have to get used to ‘President Trump’ in the same way that you had to get used to ‘President Reagan,’ she immediately looked down, as if she knew it was true. She came back and said, “No, she won’t, she’ll beat Trump,” but her heart wasn’t in it. THEY KNOW, and it is simply DELICIOUS to see it!
Hillary has zero chance at winning the White House.... people who believe this are stuck in old paradigms that are no longer valid.
Its going to be a slaughter in November, and the pundits are going to be scratching their heads saying, how can this be? Why did no one see this coming? When its been obvious to just about anyone watching that isn’t stuck in the sounding board of DC that Trump is going to win and win big and win in a way that folks haven’t seen in a long time.
Low end 350 EC votes and 35 states... more realistic 40+ states and 400+ EC votes for Trump.
Everyone seems to be forgetting Vince Foster and Craig Livingstone.
