I plan on being in your state by the end of the month. I’ve been hiking the Pacific Crest Trail every year since 2012. I started out earlier this year, leaving the US-MX border on Valentine’s Day. I’m back home, but not for long.
Off topic-
I sent 7 certified letters to the Trump Organization last week, to convey my suggestion for Vice President. I’ve been following the tracking and finally, all 7 letters have reached their destination. I’m sure there are employees that filter the mail and likely go through it themselves, so I never thought that my letters would reach their intended addressees, at least initially. However, I did hope that out of 7 letters sent, maybe 1 or 2, might get a look see. Ya’ just never know...
Reminds me of the time in Vegas that we sat with the Post master of Waco It was during the siege. He told us that God Lived in New Hampshire. He knew because every day they received several post cards to the Branch Dividians telling them to give up, surrender, quoting scripture etc. all signed by GOD
The post master was funnier than the comedian on stage One story after another Always gave me an additional chuckle with someone claimed he was a “son of a postmaster”!
Fantastic you have been doing the PCT! Just finished reading a book on this trail by Keith “Fozzie” Foskett who has done the Camino de Compostela, the PCT and, when he feels ready (!), the Continental Divide Trail. I truly admire anyone who can walk such long distances and we are talking months...
Brother and his wife lived in Mesa for 10 years and we have close friends in Tucson.
