That’s a lot of work! We had a cabin in the Sierras at 7200’ and got 15-30’ of snow a year. I never really liked snow and after that, I REALLY didn’t like it! So we moved to Tennessee-it melts quickly here. ;)

I know the Sierras pretty well- I’ve hiked through them a few times on the Pacific Crest Trail. I stayed for lengthy periods of time at Kennedy Meadows (south), Lone Pine, Vermilion Valley Resort, and Mammoth Lakes. The farthest north I got was Sonora Pass.

Where was home for you? East side? West side?
