There’s an interesting clip up on YouTube of Rowanne Brewer from a fairly recent interview talking about Trump on Inside Edition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzQM-XJsa1o . She even recalled that in the early 1990s, he once asked her: “Do you think I would make a good president?”
They parted on good terms after she moved to California. This YouTube clip also contains a short segment of an old interview from right after they broke up, in which she said: “Donald Trump would have no problem getting women if he didn’t have a penny, because he’s got one of the best personalities of anybody I’ve ever met.” She clearly still liked him.
One wonders what other serious distortions the New York Times article contains, if they could manipulate this woman’s story so outrageously. Good for her to insist on correcting the record.

I looked up many of those quoted in the Crossing article...found this written article that goes with the video you posted. The video and interview were done this past February.
