Did they ever catch the air traffic controller who directed the commercial passenger plane over the small war zone where two large military planes had been shot down at high altitude, well beyond the range of manpads?
Did you know that Ukraine and USA have also accidentally shot down passenger planes in the past? Do you feel these should also be prosecuted for their “crime”.

It would have taken only a very small expenditure of jet fuel to divert around the tiny war zone.
It is a fact that airline personnel swapped shifts with people to avoid what common sense told them were dangerous overflights.
Do you think a passenger plane was knowingly, intentionally shot down? If so, what was the motivation or benefit to them?
Or is it more likely that it misidentified as a military cargo plane, as had been shot down the week before.

And yes Putin was airborne, enroute back from a conference, his flight route was re routed Nirth if this region and some conspiracy rumors suggested the “ rebels” who downed the civil airliner either thought or were told that it was Putin’s plane
It’s really dumb to think the Kremlin would direct the shoot down of a civil airliner here, much less do it while Putin was so close to the same airspace
This aircraft was under Ukranian ATC and they sent it over this area despite known danger of “ rebel” attack
No fan of either side here even though obama state department picked sides and chose the noble freedom fighting Ukranians as the good guys -
Which in reading just a bit about how this govt came to power and what it has done to its inhabitants - is hard to swallow whole
