[I tell them I would not go for twice that amount!!]

It is astounding to see Christians flock to Disneyland and Disney World and pay what is probably twice the amount they would put in the offering plate for a year.

Disney pushes its cesspool of PC and perversion on cablevision and enforces their PC with products and teen stars. There are wholesome and less expensive places to take the family on vacation.

Train up a child in the way he should go. Proverbs 22:6

The legacy attractions are benign on their face, though there is a larger and larger tendency to work hints into them that could be viewed as supporting perversion.

The medium of the fantastic is a two edged sword. It can cut for evil or it can cut for good. It’s up to us how we regard it.

Out and out sponsorship of clear wrong is another story.

And I would say that teaching children how to view a flexible medium in a wholesome manner is part of teaching them how they should go. If you simply drill into them never to visit the battle scene, they probably won’t know how to fight if, later in life, they are unavoidably faced with it.

“Disney pushes its cesspool of PC and perversion on cablevision and enforces their PC with....”

Hey, lemme get in on this. Yeah, I had passes in ‘07 and took the young ones there up until ‘09. It was horrible. Worst vacation experience we’ve ever had by FAR. Rude, menacing Teamster employees sneering comments at my 18 month old daughter. My 4 y.o. treated badly during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. More childless-adults than children at children parties and the grownups pushing kids aside to get ahead in lines. Two butch character party workers giving handfuls of candy to princesses and when my son asked for candy they made him dance for it “dance little boy”.

Horrible, horrible place. Never going back.

“It was as though some huge force were pressing down upon you — something that penetrated inside your skull, battering against your brain, frightening you out of your beliefs, persuading you, almost, to deny the evidence of your senses. In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense. And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable … what then?”—George Orwell, “1984”
