There must have been a specific reason they weren’t considered eligible at that time, but they really should have been. They were just as heroic as anyone who served.

Arlington does not have an unlimited amount of space left. It will reach capacity before too long, and the rules have been made stricter over time. I am wondering what area is being considered for the next national cemetery.

That's a very good question.

I'm glad these heroic, patriotic female WWII pilots are now approved to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery. 70 years too late, though.

I read an article about Arlington a week or so ago and it mentioned plans for expansion along its southern border. Would be great to do that.
