Just how is that possible? I suspect they were not. If they really were, then someone is an idiot.

Several weeks before this incident the Iranians hijacked a US drone, by giving it false GPS signals stronger than the real GPS. The drone thought it was in a location other than where it was and it’s auto-landing routine kicked in allowing the Iranians to capture it.
I’d bet the Iranians pulled the same thing on the 2 SWCC Boats.
