That’s the M65 280mm Atomic Cannon aka ‘Atomic Annie’, fired a 15 kiloton shell 7 miles, I’m pretty sure my Dad was there for the May 25, 1953 test (although he never discussed his work in detail with the Dept of the Army), a truly impressive weapon.
