This is the only issue that led me to support him. If he was being dishonest about his position on muslims entering the US, I see no reason to continue that support.
He already waffled by changing from all Muslims banned to his ‘wealthy friends’ being allowed in (and presumably anyone that had expedited screening with US security) but I do think it will be put in front of a commission and we’ll see what comes out of that. I would be for it also but the idea of requiring a religious background check on all tourists entering the country was never going to pass without modification.
