If Trump walks back his earlier policy statements on muslims, the borders and Obamacare he won’t have anyone voting for him other than a few pansies in Washington DC. and NY City.
Actually, I was wondering about you...
I mean you seem perfectly OK with Trump being the next Obama...
Now, I certainly don't think he will be, but I'm going into this election with my eyes wide open...
Are you ?
My take is that he will be the toughest on Islamic Terrorism-Genocide out of anyone vying for the job. I think he feigns moderation now to calm the pablum puking establishment, but actually moves hard right on this when he is in.
He will never tolerate the broad mass murder of innocents by these Muslims as Barack Obama has. (Obama couldn’t even force himself to go to France for the Charlie Hebdo Memorial.) Trump will call it what it is. So will Giuliani. America will not fall victim to these murderous Muslim animals.
I hope TRUMP will not end up compromising his positions to get along with those who are against him.
So by him wanting Rudy to head up his ban on Muslims, that makes it all right????
Rudy has already said that a ban isn’t right...
What’s next....Paul Ryan to write up Trump’s budget cuts? Lyndsay Graham to figure out how to beat ISIS without committing ground troops? John Boehner and Mitch McConnell to come up with a strategy to out maneuver the Democrats in Congress?
The walking backwards begins.
Trump’s instinct and intention is in the right place.
We just need to hound Everyone that current immigration law permits banning individuals from terrorist nations.

Here we go, jumping in Trump for every comment he makes.
Well said!
RE: “Weeding out the worst of them would be a start”
I think the hill to stand on “if not die” would be an insistence that we have or can devise a means of veting refugees or other immigrants before admitting them. Clearly we can’t vet Syrian origin refugees at present. I believe that was part of Trump’s position and I know it was Cruz’s.
I would add Libyan and Somali because of the crisis and instability there.
He wants to be able to check the security risks before just allowing them in great numbers.
>> Is the Wall also a suggestion? <<
I seem to recall that knowledgeable people suggested he had said something along those lines during his off-the-record meeting with the NYT editorial board.
So we gotta hope the NYT doesn’t leak a recording or transcript of the interview.
Exactly!
Yup. To me that’s leadership. Take a bold stand, handle the “incoming”, gather a team to implement, point them in the right direction, have their back at every step along the way, give credit where credit is due. Rinse. Repeat.
"See!"
"See!"
"We told you so!"
Projectile vomiting is warranted.
Say what? :-)
Either Trump or Hillary now.
“as if we had the most competent and conservative candidate since 1980 sitting right in fromnt of us and the fools were tricked by the MSM once again into nominating a donkey in elephant’s clothing.
Oh well...I guess platitudes and stream of consciousness diatribes will have to do. Consistent conservative logic has left the building.”
Looks like you are ignoring the message from Jim Robinson:
“Very sorry if your favorite candidate did not win the nomination and sorry if you cannot understand or agree with our mission, but those who can’t live with our immediate goal need to either keep it to themselves or sit it out (from FR) for the duration. Anti-Trump activities and NeverTrump trolling and recruiting efforts are not appreciated and are unwelcome on FR.”
