When they say “liberal challenger” — do they mean someone to the right of her politically?
No! They mean someone even more fringe lefty than she is (you knew that).
For a liberal, hell hath no fury like a challenge from the Left.
The irony for her is much to contemplate after years of her denouncing those nasty rightwing racist bigot homophobes.
