I don’t know about a 6 year term for president. Think about all the evil Obama accomplished in just a few years. I think 4 years is fine. It would be two years less misery with the llkes of the current occupant and two years is two years...: )
You do have a good point.
If you look back over the last 60-70 years many (but not all) two term presidencies start to lose their vigor and even collapse in the 5th or 6th year - if they haven't fallen apart earlier.
LBJ, Nixon, Clinton and Bush 43 come to mind.
IMHO, Reagan is the notable exception on the positive side.
And of course Obama is the stand out exception on the negative side.
He has been a disaster since the first day but I do believe he became even more worthless after he won a second term.
And I really have grave concerns about the coming 8 months until he is gone.
