Good morn all.

Bottom line will be how to save Ryan face. The Cruz people for most part dont care. They are Talking libertarian, constitution party or 3rd party w/Cruz. They actually think he can win!!! But seem to shrug off its Trumps fault Should Hillary et al win and destroy the shred of America Obama has left

Did browse through GOP Briefing room at thread for Freepers who left here. Terrible! Wall to wall DJT attacks. Many recognizable screen names. One hearty Trump fan a voice of reason n not hate. Why he stays is puzzling. The bashers are all highly principled and TRUE conservatives doncha know

Looking forward to your reports to this thread. Will be out n about most of day including date day(not night as I must work). Lunch and Captain America 3D /XD

Rain here. Glad I mowed yesterday

Trump already told him. All Trump is seeking is support for his run, he is not seeking full throated support for all his policies, he expects disagreement there.

Cruz just happens to be the person/name who came in second. If it had been Jeb, the same people would be using Jeb's name as "the only true conservative."

Yesterday Cruz announced that his big thing, to continue the fight against Federal overreach was that he was filing his papers to run again for hi senate seat.

I do not think he will entertain any possibility of any 3rd Party run.

As to this meeting...I hope and pray that Ryan starts today to transition to supporting the party’s nominee. A nominee that will have a larger popular vote for the GOP Presidential Primary than any other GOP Presidential primary candidate in history.

If Ryan cannot see the wisdom in supporting that candidate, and working with him to align their priorities as much as possible...IMHO, there is no hope for him.

Bottom line will be how to save Ryan face.

In the business world with which The Donald is familiar, when someone is so unhappy in an organizaton that he or his employer wants him to quit, the two parties have a conversation and agree on the terms -- who will say what, and what they will not say. It works to both parties' advantage not to slime one another. I'm fairly certain Mr. Trump will have thought all this through going into the meeting, and is ready to make a deal. If he's counting on Ryan to honor his side, let's hope he's not disappointed; but Trump, if he wins, has enormous leverage. If Trump doesn't win, he still has enormous resources and followers who will listen to his every criticism of however the government is conducting itself going forward.

Advice to Paul Ryan: It's inevitable. Lie back and enjoy it.

Just heard the newscaster on Fox detailing all the conservative things Ryan wants, but Trump supposedly doesn’t (cutting Medicare costs, not raising taxes on wealthy - which Trump would still lower the top rate, he is just open to negotiations on how much) - trying to make Ryan sound like the principled conservative. No mention of Ryan’s pro-amnesty stance.

Just another hit piece.
