Democrats are uniquely able to pull off this sort of corruption because they know/knew that their butt would be covered by the corrupt media cartel.
It is the old story of if a Democrat does multiple felonies, it is not a story; but if a Republican jay-walks, it is front page news.
That may be changing now that the new media is having more of an impact, but the Clintons proved themselves immune from prosecution with both the abuse of women by Bill, and the Waco/Branch Davidian coverups.
So, yes there is an enormous difference in what the two parties can get away with.
I very much suspect that the list of people on the Saudi payroll includes people we like, as well as people we don't like.
And there isn't much interest in outing them because people aspire to be bought by the Saudis.
Of course, the veritable home run is to be bought by both the Saudis and the Chinese. And I suspect we could both name people in that lofty club.
