I hope she has a story or two. I spent several weeks on jury duty a couple of years ago.
I watched a deputy sheriff come in uniform and tried to get excused at check in without going through all the motions. The gal told him they had been so short of jurors he might end up on a jury even though he was LEO. He asked her how that would work...she said we have a lot of civil trials too. The look on his face was priceless.
People watching is sure interesting. People came dressed so sloppy the clerk lectured all of us about how to dress. So many do not seem to have pride in themselves, know how to act, or even care how they present themselves in public and it was such a big thing when I was growing up.
