To be honest with you, I am starting to think that in many cases it actually is only that he disagrees with him. Look at the instant flip from villain to hero, or hero to villain going on here, based solely on if that person says something positive or negative about Trump.
I would interpret it as pusillanimy on Ryan’s part.
All Ryan had to say originally was that Trump was the people’s choice and he looked forward to working with him on their differences for the ultimate good of the Republican party and the people of the US.
Even his allies in the House couldn’t figure out what he hoped to accomplish with such a tone-deaf statement as he made.
For you to say that means you didnt see that a lot of us realized Paul Ryan was a turncoat before he became speaker.
For you to say that means you didn’t understand that the reckless passing of the omnibus bill by him was terrible in and of itself.
Ryan deserves to get thrown out. He is a failure. He was a failure before Trump ever became the presumed nominee. It’s fortunate that he has now demonstrated that for the whole country.
I wasn’t just talking about Ryan. I think it was just yesterday I saw a “Oh, we are supposed to like Coulter again?”
Ryan hasn’t been a hero to most of us in a long long time so your statement is smoke to allow a Trump supporter bash.
What I am talking about is the emotional reaction to anything said about Trump. If it is perceived as negative (even if it is a misleading headline), then that person is a villain. If it is perceived as positive, then that person is a hero.
And it seems that one can go from villain to hero based on that bell ringing. Oh, we are supposed to like Dole now? Or Cheney? Or Coulter? Or, well, fill in the blank.
It feels more and more like a liberal circle jerk with some of the comments in here. What happened to reasoned discussion?
Ryan was one of several Congressmen who put out a budget proposal in 2008, which he modified in 2010. In 2011, as Republicans were preparing alternative proposals to counter ObamaCare passed in 2010, Ryan's budget proposal was the most matured of them all and became the framework for the Republican response.
It may not be a case of Ryan being some up and coming Conservative hotshot, but rather someone in the right place at the right time with something that the leadership needed.

Thank You AuntB for posting that link to Towncrier.
Chock full of info and names names as well!
Thanks you,Randy Larsen. Feel free to use any info on my blog that will help Trump! It has a search feature.
Very clever.
I noticed you ignored the clarity some of us had in knowing Paul Ryan was a fraud before we decided to support Trump.
As to Coulter, do you think she’s wrong about stopping the invasion of illegals from Mexico being the most important issue right now?
I think he has to say it because his district is full of Mexicans.
