I intend to vote for Donald Trump, and just typing those words makes me throw up a little. Make that a lot, and for distance. Yeah, I know Trump is a clown, but so is Hillary Clinton, and while hes sort of an irascible and tacky Ronald McDonald, she is freaking Pennywise.
Now, if you want to see my Trump-slamming bona fides, you can Google my CNN appearances where I was the go-to conservative who would reliably trash the loudmouth Republican nominee until I dared attack Hillary and mussed their carefully coiffed narrative. But I haven't changed my mind about anything I said. Trump is terrible. It's just that I believe Hillary is infinitely worse.
About 90% of my friends are in the #NeverTrump category. Hell, my wife is #NeverTrump. This is understandable since I hang with a lot of hard-core conservatives and similar quality people. They tell me it's an act of principle to refuse to vote for Trump, and I agree - completely and without reservation. No sarcasm here believe me, I get it.

No you don't, quit lying to yourself...Conservatives don't support amnesty...Conservatives don't support trade deals that eliminate the Sovereignty of the United States and screw the middle class out of existence in the process...
Donald Trump, what have you wrought?
A gentleman at my church yesterday told us that we should be careful whom we criticize in public and how. He had been at a prayer breakfast opining how this election was about the lesser of 2 evils and some gal overheard and came over and started boosting Hillary to him.
If we call Hillary evil, Trump is a little naughtiness.
Well said!
You are insulting. Rather than a normal human you sound like a 10 year old child with a very frail system.
Get over it and ack like a man.
from a Fan?
Donald busted past a plaster saint.
Face it, a lot of what people call important is really vanity, and fails a severe enough test.
Well Kurt join the club with those of us who got drunk and voted for McCain or held our nose and voted for mitt. Suck it up.
Sounds like he was the go-to useful idiot of CNN. As soon as he started critizing the Hildabeast they dumped him.
Funny, since I’ve seen him posted here probably a hundred times or more.
Trump has exposed the ‘so called’ conservative wordsmiths. They live in a tiny hardened shell, and are every bit as smug and elitist as those liberal wordsmith, ‘thinkers’.
Long read but fits these ‘so called’ conservative elitists just the same.

LOL! YUP! The only person I would trust in the oval office is me but I got too many skeletons.
Prognosticating this far in future is hazard-fraught anyhow, though it appears unlikely that Donald would sink to a level even half as low as Hillary has. You have to really TRY for her level of shamefulness.
Oh, he was the lightweight low intellect conservative they brought on shows as a punching bag.
Hey Rush Limbaugh...this would be a good story to lead your program off today.
And I'm STILL getting spammed by him!
There are still some of his true believers out stumping for him, here in West Virginia just this weekend there were about a dozen Cruz supporters holding up signs by the side of the road. I (politely) asked them if they realized he had dropped out of the race. They said he was still on the ballot and they still believed that he could deny Trump enough delegates to keep him from getting the nomination on the first ballot at the convention and Cruz would be chosen on the second ballot.
winner3000 has it right.
I’m in a similar place to the author. Voting for Trump will be the hardest vote I’ve ever made. My son has already told me he’s voting Libertarian for the first time.
One of the many things I don’t like about Trump is his vulgarity. I understand it’s worked, but just reading his supporters on FR, his vulgarity and uncouthness is being followed by his followers. This is not a good thing.
My biggest fear about him though is that six months into his presidency he tells everyone Republicans in congress are impossible to work with so he’s switching parties. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
Anyway, it would help people like me if Trump supporters would just be better people. If a potential supporter is having trouble getting there, give them reasons, not a threadfull of insults. Believe it or not, “You’re a moron,” is not a convincing argument.
It’s a plaster-saint problem.
Earnest Christians should have been raising their eyebrows the moment Cruz and Beck became bro’s. This was the chance for the discernment-meisters to show their stuff, but they blowed it real good.
Donald isn’t simon-pure here, but he puts a lot more emphasis on the secular, which is more credible in a secular realm.
We cling to the monsters we know best.
There’s a lot of “you’re a moron” going on among the Cruzie crowd too... it isn’t just something Donald invented... anyhow have a good day
Dear Mr. Sphincter:
It makes me throw up a little just to read your snide and unwarranted comments.
