Six men were killed and at least 39 other people have been wounded in shootings across the city over Mother’s Day weekend.
The latest homicide happened Sunday morning in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.
Kourtney Young, 21, suffered multiple gunshot wounds about 8:45 a.m. in the 7600 block of South Prairie and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:35 a.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Young lived in the 7300 block of South King Drive, authorities said. Police did not immediately have details on the circumstances of the shooting.
Earlier Sunday, a 35-year-old man was shot to death while riding in a car on Lake Shore Drive on the North Side.

And this is one of the LESS carnage-ridden weekends of Chicago. Normally not much is said about wounded, only about killed.
Well if they ever need battlefield hospital expertise, ask the Chicago hospitals.
True... normally we only hear the killing quota, but now we are hearing the wounded quota, and not yet the failed attack quota.
Probably one of the very few US populations that would consider moving to Detroit or Philadelphia a move up!

Now we’re getting somewhere. Add a little heat to the mix and maybe we can get the death toll over 20 on any given summer weekend. The more these ferals cull each other out the better.

Her reactions was...I am sure glad, I like Walmart and all but you don’t have to get all dressed up to go to the Dollar Store...
