I believe there is one thing that can reduce the growing of hemp that is smokable and grown in the open as opposed to hydroponically growing it. That is to grow commercial hemp near any outdoor growing operation. The two cross pollinate and them the smokable hemp becomes useless.

Don't know this for sure, but that is what I have heard. Maybe there is someone out there who is more knowledgable about this subject.

Or you could get your nose out of other people’s business ans stop insisting the government use violence against people who smoke weed. That crusade makes just as much sense as the police coming after you for a bottle of beer.

""...grow commercial hemp near any outdoor growing operation. The two cross pollinate and them the smokable hemp becomes useless...."

This is not 100% absolutely correct.

Hemp, sometimes called Cannabis ruderalis, contains components that have value.

It is not just the THC that gives people relief from their pain and afflictions. there are many components, called terpenes, that have legitimate value.

Myrcine, Linalol, b-Caryophylene, Pinene, and others are all terpenes that have medical value and also occur in other plants.

For instance, Linalool is the component in Lavender that makes it relaxing.

Breeders have successfully interbred cannabis with hemp on purpose to bring out certain traits, the most obvious and useful being the autoflowering characteristic found in ruderalis strains.
