In that video, Gingrich is in all seriousness proposing psychological operations against the American people using terrorism. It's not that I can't see how he came to his conclusion, it's that he came to that conclusion that's the problem. Watch it again, it's not at all benign.

I’m not going to carry on this discussion anymore. It’s obvious what Newt is saying to me. I’ve had many conversations with many people in which we analogize, make hypothetical suggestions in effort to get a point across, and that’s what Newt is doing in that video, but if you want him to be a nutcase, crackpot just go ahead. You’re going to anyway.
