WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama is creating a council to help ensure a smooth transition to his successor.
Created by executive order, the White House Transition Coordinating Council will be led by Obama's chief of staff.
Members include deputies to the chief of staff, the intelligence director, the budget director and the president's homeland security and counterterrorism adviser.
The council's responsibilities include providing guidance to departments and agencies, working with the transition directors for the presidential candidates and holding emergency preparedness and response exercises.

I expect the jackassery on the part of the departing crew will exceed the petulant and juvenile stunts of the Clintons.

Oh brother. Every President has transitioned into their office with no problem. Obama just wants to poke a stick in the wheel before he goes.

More subterfuge. Considering the disaster and damage he has foisted upon this country and its people, the only thing he could do to “make things smoother” would be to undo it all...and not to let the door slam on the White House when he is finally escorted out. He is obviously trying every filthy trick to leave his evil imprint on our government making it as difficult as possible for America to recover from his crimes and leftist excesses.
Trump will not follow that lead.
He needs to send his “Council” to Kenya.

Trump might have to fix this too, and do more than say, ‘thanks, but no thanks’ to the ‘help’ from the ‘transition team’.
Nothing this man makes the slightest effort to do is no good and is cause for concern. If Trump wins, there’s no telling what he’ll do to this country.

This sounds like something Nixon would have done if he’d been able to keep Watergate under the radar-people to destroy every scrap of evidence everywhere that could be used to indict him for anything at all...
