DC Chapter ping:
Basil traveled up from Texas to freep with us at Walter Reed. She needs our prayers and support now.
She also was one of the organizers of the enormous Heart of Texas Chapter’s troop-support freep when Cindy Sheehan’s followers had encamped to protest at Bush’s Crawford ranch in 2005.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this. Basil is one of my favorites. I know what she and you are going through. It is terrible. My mom had a stroke at 70. She survived for 5 years and didn’t get any better. You have my prayers.

Prayers up for dear basil. It was through the
rally in Washington DC that I first meet fellow Freepers... darn long time ago. Can't recall all folks I met or all or the Freeper ladies who worked so hard to push the issue into the public eye.
A tip of the hat and a salute to you basil, job well done.

I’d see her at the grocery store in Lakeway lots, her purse hanging with the weight of the .357. Get well, Basil, soon.

I had the great pleasure of meeting basil during several of her visits to the DC chapter. Her work with the Second Amendment Sisters left a lasting impression. Prayers up.
