On Fridays Breitbart News Daily, SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon asked Donald Trump about the appointment of his business associate Steven Mnuchin as campaign finance chairman.
The move has been criticized because of Mnuchins long tenure with Goldman Sachsthe financial giant seen as a Wall Street villain by the populist constituency that propelled Trump to victory in the GOP primary. In fact, during the Republican primary, Senator Ted Cruz was criticized because his wife Heidi worked for the company.
Some people are saying, Hes selling out to Wall Street already; hes gonna have all kinds of favors hes going to owe Wall Street, Bannon noted.
Well, I needed somebody smart, and hes very smart, as you know, Trump said of Mnuchin. Hes done some amazing deals. I actually did a deal with him in Hawaii; I built a hotel with him in Hawaii. Hes great. Hes a good guy. Hes a solid guy, as you know. And you know, the family is a wonderful family.
Trump said he was not selling out anything in terms of policy by bringing Mnuchin on board his campaign team, insisting he would keep it more or less the same.
Hes raising money for the party, he said about Mnuchins role, adding:
And Im gonna be putting up a lot of money. So this is money thats going to the Republican National Committee. I think we could raise a billion dollars, but the Democrats are gonna have two billion dollars. And to raise a billion dollars for the party, you need somebody good.
I think hes going to do a great jobbut, again, Im going to be spending a tremendous amount of money, and I expect to, Trump said.

Reading comprehension is a good thing to have.
Aren’t you Cruznadians supposed to be smarter than God?
“So, if this guy advocates the north American union or Soros globalization, then I want him out of there.”
Actually, he DID work for a Soros funded organization at one time too.
As a financial guy. I’m talking globalization advocacy out of his mouth.
escape key- circular reference error
“Trump deceived them about self funding.”
NOPE. Early on this year, in a rally he said he was self funding - crowd started cheering - and he explained self funding the primary, not the general. They continued to cheer.
The difference is that Cruz was doing THEIR bidding on THEIR dollar, or would have been when the debt was called due. It wasn’t JUST because his wife worked there, it’s who was putting up the money, and who was going to end up the slave.
It had to do with who could be blackmailed and used as leverage.
SURELY you thought of those things before the whine, right?
The question is, Does Trump want a competent, effective, money man or does he want a country club, neutered, wimpy, RINO that makes Gramnasty happy?
Trump is showing that it is far more important to get the job done than to play ideologue like Obama for the last 7 years.
Hitting the escape key..... Circular reference error.... **** loan** self fund *** general*** LOAN **** self fund. **** loan. **** self fund
What is “lousy” about a full government guaranteed mortgage? I just asking? If the government via the community “reinvestment”act was demanding the banks to make crap loans for “equal housing” opportunity and the secondary market would buy them without recourse you would be a blithering idiot not to pick that money up. We were the suckers who had to pay the mortgages. We even had to pay AIG for the PMI. I don’t blame the banks for the CRA — do you? I don’t blame the banks for fully tax payer guaranteed loans. The whole thing was policy of the government IMO. Banks? I don’t see it.
