World War I is probably not even mentioned in high school these days.Indeed, most important issues in American history are not really covered except via approved memes. The better to condition the students to accept the absolute slavery that awaits in their future.

None of my US history classes ever got to WWI and II. At most it was founding to civil war and then gloss over FDR and his perceived greatness. Then finals and class over.

Everything prior to the Civil War has certainly been purged. Anything that does not support the narrative that America is an EEEEEEVIL Racist Capitalist Patriarchy that was founded by scheming televangelists and the Ku Klux Klan.
