Trumps initial response to Ryan’s statement did not help mend things. If you want to unify the party you can’t just keep attacking the other factions.
No, but you do have to establish the pecking order.
And Ryan is a peckerhead, for sure.
Let’s see, Ryan denies support and you are blaming Trump for not unifying the party??
His intended audience was the American people, not Paul Ryan.
Shuffling up to the Speaker's Office, hat in hand, would be weak and out of character.
Paul Ryan still has a primary opponent, a charismatic badass businessman with one of the best campaign ads I've ever seen, in a district that Trump won. He's the one who ought to think about treading gingerly.
Ryan is not interested in unifying anything. He’s demanding that Trump follow the newly devised RNC political agenda that Ryan, Mitt and donors came up with to control the President of the United States. Trump will not be controlled by them and their agenda. This is why Ryan is throwing a tantrum.
Trump’s own words: I am not ready to support Speaker Ryan’s agenda. Perhaps in the future we can work together and come to an agreement about what is best for the American people. They have been treated so badly for so long that it is about time for politicians to put them first!”
No, Ryan is a traitor to this country.
Unification depends on having compatible world views. Right now, the GOPe and DEMs are approximately unified, see "uniparty."
Something has to give if nationalism is to take root, and the GOP is where that fracture is. Sometimes "unification" comes about by removing certain factions from your club. The GOPe is trying to remove Trump, but it has to do so delicately, in a way that allows plausible deniability. And at the same time, Trump is trying to remove or expose the globalists, and has to be careful about it.
Trumps initial response to Ryans statement did not help mend things. If you want to unify the party you cant just keep attacking the other factions.
Pure BS.
There’s a new Sheriff in town. Trump is laying down the new rules.
We’ve had civility and tone, with the establishment, for a decade. Where did that get us?
These gravy train blood suckers need to get their @zzes handed to them. Trump is doing just that. If you don’t care for his style, feel free to grasp your pearls in frustration. But please, get off of the tracks, or you’ll be run over by the Trump train going full steam ahead.
Trump’s response was Brilliant. It is Ryan “who did not help mend things.”
