The casino magnate Sheldon G. Adelson said on Thursday night that he would support Donald J. Trump now that he has become the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee.
“Yes, I’m a Republican, he’s a Republican,” Mr. Adelson said in a brief interview. “He’s our nominee. Whoever the nominee would turn out to be, any one of the 17 — he was one of the 17. He won fair and square.”

Has Trump rejected Adelson’s support?
Probably not.

Perhaps that’s why it takes more than two months to reach the fundraiser goal?
In past presidential election years, the fundraisers hit their goal in two weeks.
Adelson is very concerned about Israel’s security. The fact that he came out for Trump now will do a lot to reassure those who want Israel safe that Trump will not push Israel to compromise its security in his attempts to negotiate a deal between Israel and the palestinian Arabs.
This is important.
Adelson isn’t important, his money is. But Trump isn’t accepting it.
