Previous article I’d seen about this situation simply said the small-business tow truck driver declined to tow a car with a Sanders sticker. Now the driver has become “disabled” and the tow truck driver has become “pro Trump”.

I'm guessing the real story is something like he spotted the sticker and guessed the driver would want the government to pay, so he asked for payment in advance.

As soon as he saw the commie sticker, he should've zipped his lip and bailed the scene. Speaking to the media wasn't an especially bright move, an unforced error. If you know by previous experience Bernie's fellow communists won't pay their bills and are likely to file lawsuits, why not just get away as fast as possible. And for God's sakes, talk to the media?
