“Who would have thought the government would have so much power over us that they could change our bathroom habits and endanger women and children in the process.”

I don’t think there has been any federal legislation nor executive orders that dictates who must be allowed to enter a restroom within a retail store.

Instead, for what ever reason, and likely to their own detriment, retail stores such as Target, Whole Foods, Starbucks, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and Barnes & Noble have all announced that customers are welcome to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with.

These are private businesses making business decisions without directives from the federal government.

Yes, the federal government exerts too much power, but for now, who can use a restroom is not a power that they have exercised.
