Can Trump match Hillary's ground game?
Fox News ^ | May 4, 2016 | James Rosen ยท

When she first sought elective office in 2000, capturing the U.S. Senate seat from New York once held by Robert F. Kennedy, then-First Lady Hillary Clinton inherited her husband’s Democratic political machine – the largest and most effective the country had seen since the Kennedy era.

Now, as a former senator and secretary of state, Clinton has retooled that machine for the digital age, in ways that far exceed even the vaunted operation she put together for her bitter 2008 primary struggle against Barack Obama.

Clinton’s reported $5 million technology and data mining operation, built upon the pioneering digital apparatus of the Obama campaigns, is allowing her to micro-target swing voters down to their purchasing, reading and media-consumption habits.

If the GOP is serious about defeating Hillary, I hope they find a way to match and surpass her efficient ground game. I hope they will.

Trump beat the Cruz/GOP vaunted ground game with far less money spent. I bet Trump gets the most out of every dollar spent.

Don’t they mean Biden’s ground game?

Trump hates to spend a lot of money.

As a candidate, he understands while resources are important, how they’re put to use is far more important than you have them.

If you don’t know how to win, you can’t win.

Trump isn't lazy like Romney, he actually wants to win.

He will get the votes out.

Dude, Trumps win is going to rank among the top in crushings. All this media pontificating and prognosticating is bullshit, especially from the butthurt GOPe establishment.

I’d have preferred to have a strict constructionist like Cruz, but he would have had a far harder time winning the general. The dirty little secret no one is talking about is that Trump is going to secure a huge chunk of organized labor and significant percentages of the black and hispanic vote. Enough of the latter two demographics are going to flip that the democrats can’t hope to win. They depend on 90+% of those groups, if they lose merely a few percent of these groups it’s not going to be remotely possible for them to win.

Manafort will put it in place. The man is a warrior. According to the Trump boys the ground game is putting itself in place, their phone is ringing off the hook. Fear not.

Working, taxpaying people want a voice. Someone who speaks his mind, and thinks America can be, and is GREAT!

republicans, independents, and disgruntled dems, all are clamoring for such a person.

Well, there is one on the horizon.

What to do, what to do...

Actually, I’m thinking more and more that the Clinton Crime Family is old, antiquated, and about to be retired. As Cheney said so memorably, the wheel has turned.

Cruz supposedly had a historic ground game for what good it did him. His crash is epic, especially his embarrassing meltdown Tuesday morning. Clinton will fair no better. Trump understands what is wrong, what people want, how to play the game, and he is systematically delivering. People believe Trump. Does anyone really believe Clinton?

I suspect that Trump has a far better ground game than anyone realizes. In the last 7 races he won every county in six of them, and lost only 5 counties in Indiana. He also won every county in Alabama, lost only 2 counties in SC, and only 1 county each in Florida and Tennessee, and only 3 in Georgia. Those are pretty impressive wins, and I’m sure it just didn’t happen by accident.

Hilly Hag is about to come up against a fellow who has been organizing and leading people in complex projects his entire life. It's what he does - we're probably about to witness the apex of his organizational skills. I'm not sure how a bunch of slacker parasites are going to be able to deal with that.

Other than lying, threatening 2A, pushing LGBT, and threatening coal miners, what exactly is Hilary’s “ground game”?

Clinton’s reported $5 million technology and data mining operation, built upon the pioneering digital apparatus of the Obama campaigns, is allowing her to micro-target swing voters down to their purchasing, reading and media-consumption habits.

Trump should talk about this, and deride it while saying that he connects directly with the People. (Trump should still use this same effective technology for his own campaign, of course).

I loved on Tuesday night when Donald Trump talked about the intense amount of attack ads that everyone was running against him in Indiana, saturating the airwaves non-stop, day after day. Everything including the kitchen sink was thrown at him.

And I remember Trump saying how these negative ads just "didn't work. The People saw right through it. They weren't buying it." (I'm paraphrasing slightly).

It's so great to have a candidate who can cut through the Media gatekeepers and connect directly with the People. It's also great to see the People so casually dismiss the influence of these traditional propaganda hubs that are run by the Left, GOPe, etc.

Things have gotten totally away from these crooks this time around, and they're freaking out.

We have to push this Revolution through. It needs to succeed. It may be our last chance.

Vote Trump
