You may be right. The Bush clan is up there, but there were at least SOME positives there. Romney is just a nothingburger.
Since I turned 18 back in 1972, I have always voted for the most conservative Republicans (in my humble opinion) in the primaries and then supported the Republican nominees in the General. Only two exceptions: Michael Huffington for Senate in 1994 and Mitt Romney for President in 2012. I could not overcome the sense of deceit in either of these men to pull the lever and I have pulled the lever for some real stinkers in all those years.
