Because he's not a politician
Many would like to say that Trump is no better than a plurality in the primaries. When there are 17 candidates in the field, a plurality is all that can be expected. Now that it came down to 3 candidates, Trump scored a majority in each of the last 8 primaries. And he won every county in each state of the last 7 primaries. Not too bad for a 'beginner'.
The only idiot voters are those who elected Obummer twice and those who support Hillary or Bernie in the primaries. Hopefully some of the Bernie supporters will see the 'light' and vote Trump in November.
As usual things on this forum are deliberately misinterpreted and deliberately misquoted. Let me set the record straight. the idiots aren't the ones who voted for Cruz, Rubio etc. The idiots are the ones who claim to be conservatives who are still saying "Never Trump"
WOW - it’s been one clean sweep after another... Way to go Trump...
I agree with you and I am a Trump supporter.
I remember wanting to voter for Herman Cane, Then Gingrich,
then we got Romney by the GOPE.
I was called a non-believer then and a lot of other things.
I was sick that my candidate, didn’t make it.
Name calling, nasty attitudes didn’t help.
This time I chose not to allow people, who called me names, determine how I would act.
You won’t find, any where, me calling people names.
I did tell one Cruz supporter to “LEAVE ME ALONE”
because that person said I was a Pedophile supporter.
I hope and pray, people, GOOD CHRISTIAN PEOPLE, will follow what they know is true in themselves with The Lord’s help. No matter who they choose to vote for.
Thank you for the kind words.
I know that Indiana was a big win for Trump and you guys have a right to be proud and I think Trump is 99% at getting 1237. I disagree about calling those of us who preferred someone else IDIOTS. I already posted the green papers tally and I don’t see how those 60% not voting for trump are “Hillary boys”.
I’m not a Hillary boy!
On the Delegates..... Since everyone but Donald Trump has dropped out, The Delegates will get behind Donald Trump.
They sure aren’t going to go to Hillary.
I quoted exactly what you posted when I replied to your post. Thanks for now telling us what you really meant to say.
Actually, I was more interested in your '60% who voted for others (than Trump)', and that is what I addressed in my reply to you.

[A FReeper discussion on the history of Trump’s conservative pro-America positions]
Trump’s been pushing the same positions for many years now (decades in some cases) that make up most of the key issues of his campaign. Don’t be misled by out-of-context, sometimes seriously misinterpreted little Trump quotes here or there without looking at the big picture in regard to his long-term worldview. There are a lot of reasons for people to trust what he will do from looking closely and with an open mind at his past.
If you look at old interviews and old books and articles, then you will see that, yes, Trump has shifted on a few significant issues and sometimes a few specific details of his policy preferences change, but he often not only has the same position from many years ago, he frequently even uses the exact same (or very similar) wording about those issues.
We finally manage to poke the GOPe/RNC in the eye and now folks are upset because we used "the wrong finger".
Cruz could become more likable by not "lecturing" when he talks - obviously smart and has honed debating skills but does not connect personally. That shouldn't be a requirement for the Presidency, but alas, it's hard to get folks excited about you if they don't feel some sort of affinity with you.
Cruz is smart and should be able to take a lot of lessons learned and be a killer candidate down the road.
I like Cavuto - he seems like a nice man and appears to at least lean a little to the Right. www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/R-PU.phtml
and it shows trump with more delegates than all the others combined
Trump - 1057
All others added up - 914
There's 464 more delegates available.
