Michelle Bachman?
I can see Rubio in Trump’s administration, but more as his golfing caddy...Plus he’d make good on tips...
Seems to me he should be under consideration. He has much less of a distance to go to align with Trump personally and politically than most other potential picks. And he has more of a national profile, more campaigning experience as well as more legislative experience than most other picks. Trump has said he doesn’t want to pick someone without political experience, so that also narrows things down. Picking a governor with no national experience is a possibility, but every time I see one of them they seem really bad on television.
Kasich might be a more strategic pick than Santorum, but I hate his cowtowing to the left and any chemistry with Trump seems like it would not be there. His style of trying to talk about unity with liberals is just at such a right angle to Trump.
No, wait, WHAT hahahahaha
I like Michelle B., but for now, she would be too divisive, too polarizing. A lot like The Donald himself. We need someone who presents a somewhat ‘blank slate’ or a unifying demeanor. Someone the RINO’s would consider NOT destroying.
Absolutely NO on Rubio. Here’s the reason why:
He didnt just support amnesty - he supported a bill that would have destroyed America. Being VP would give him the path to the Presidency.
Rubio Record (immigration)

Excerpt from link CONCLUSION:
There is no single major distinguishing policy difference between Marco Rubio, John McCain or Lindsey Graham. They have the same trade policy, immigration policy and foreign policy. But on immigration most especially the issue in which all four have invested the most there is no daylight separating them.
The difference, then, is one of persona, not policy. And in the arena of immigration, this translates into a vital difference. The biggest change from McCain-Kennedy, which could not get out of the Senate, and the Gang of Eight which was nursed along by conservative pundits despite being to the left of Kennedys bill was the presence of Rubio. Rubio created the conditions necessary to produce a considerably more open borders bill: conservatives who were invested in the Rubio Brand provided no early pushback but accepted Kennedys old talking points, and Rubio gave red state Democrats the political space necessary to support it. This is how it got 68 votes in the Senate.
The stakes of course are raised considerably if Rubio is President or Vice President. Rubio would have a much, much better chance than Obama of getting an open borders bill through Congress while Boehner could refuse to bring up Obamas mass immigration/amnesty bill for vote in 2014, Ryan would never refuse Rubios bill. Rubios presence, as it did with the Gang of Eight, would create the cover for both certain Republicans and all Democrats to get behind a far more open borders plan. Given that nearly every House Democrat sponsored the Gang of Eight House version (including Pelosi and Gutierrez), Ryan would not need to gather that many additional votes (House GOP leaders might have refused Obamas 2014 request for a vote but they would not refuse President Rubios).
All of which adds up to: there is likely no person in the United States of America in a better position to enact mass immigration legislation than a President Rubio no one who could deliver more votes in both parties for open borders immigration. Senator Rubio is not Main Streets Obama, he is Wall Streets Obama: President Obama was a hardcore leftist running as centrist; Senator Rubio is a Wall Street globalist running as a tea party conservative.
Unlike other legislation, the effects of bad immigration policy cannot be repealed. They are forever. The Republican party would never nominate a pro-Obamacare candidate, and it must be an even stronger maxim that it should not nominate any candidate who is committed to a policy of mass immigration. Rubio wrote the Obamacare of immigration policies: a bill that would have eviscerated the middle class, plunged millions into poverty, legalized the most dangerous aliens on the planet, overwhelmed our schools and safety nets, and done irreversible violence to the idea of America as a nation-state. Rubio is the candidate of open borders, Obamatrade and mass immigration, making one last attempt to pull off one big con.
No, seriously.
We don’t need Rubio an amnesty advocate, a heartbeat away from the Presidency.
“Time is now for Trump to pick Rubio for VP”
No.
No.
And No.
It is not about purists. Rubio is detested by conservatives in Florida. He is a lying traitor who stabbed Florida conservatives in the back. It’s not just about the gang of 8. That’s bad enough. Knowing that he had problems on the immigration, he promised conservatives that he would never support amnesty. The minute he got into office came the dream act and the gang of 8. He never had any intention of keeping his promise to conservatives. You might get one or two liberals to want to vote for Trump if Rubio is on the ticket, but the conservatives in Florida will not be happy. I don’t think Trump can afford to lose them just to possibly pick up a couple of libs.
Surely some harder working, non bored and lazy, competent candidate will be found. Trump picks good hardworking people to surround him. That is not Marco.
We have been very angry with his votes and “friends” since we all worked for his election.
Local Party who did not want Trump will just be less likely to help...
I do not believe he could win any future election...one county does not make for a win in Florida!
That last comment is sooooo good...never thought of looking there!
Post of the night!
Ugh, no. And another one with “questionable” citizenship. Born here, but of immigrant parents. Let’s thank our lucky stars we don’t have to face Hillary suing Cruz for ineligibility without starting another scenario with Rubio.
That would be a waste of the vp slot.
I hope kasich picks little marco.
No to Rubio. First thing Congress will do is impeach Trump for building the wall
Carson please
Kasich would make more sense and even he’s not a good choice now.
My God I sure hope not. Never Marco FoamBoy Rubio.
We just defeated the pos New World Order globalists
No way!
Oh no, dont even say that. Amnesty pimp should not go near judicial. He is Rino.
