It has come to this: A former senior adviser for John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign expressed his frustration with the state of the race and suggested Tuesday that he would vote for Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton over increasingly likely Republican nominee Donald Trump.
"[T]he GOP is going to nominate for President a guy who reads the National Enquirer and thinks it's on the level," Mark Salter tweeted Tuesday. "I'm with her."

Good riddance....
I’m not the least bit surprised.
McCain is the water boy of the GOPe.
Well, they were with Zero in 2008, after all.
Who cares about this McCain toady?
It’s McCains guy. Would you expect anything else?
How much you wanna bet the picture of the senior Cruz and Oswald is real and there was, however broad, a connection.
The USA is going to get the president it deserves.
And it is going to be ugly.
I won’t vote for a lying NY liberal con artist.
And I won’t vote for Hillary, either.
McCain is going to be ousted anyway, so that really doesn’t matter, does it?
I bet McCain is “with her” as well
I wouldn’t have expected any less from a guy that works for Hillary’s twin sister.
Mark Salter is a piece of mold-covered feces and a traitor to his country.
No surprise...his old boss was for obama in 2008! Sarah Palin was the only one working to win on that ticket.
Mark Salter???? And you are...............who???????????
I am now estimating a 40% chance, McCain finally makes his move to the RATS to save his job.
Guy’s a fag.
Cost Mc Cain his seat
Can't wait until Sarah Palin weighs in
Not your “greatest decision”, Mr Salter, but good luck with your new socialist comrades and don’t let the door hit your rino ass on the way out of the pro-American republican party.
