It sucks to say this, but it is almost like you have to be permanently disabled to actually enjoy retirement if you are not yet 62 and will rely on social security when you retire.

I pity the fools who think social security is a pension. It was not designed to fund retirement. That’s what 401Ks and IRAs are for. Plan your retirement as if there was going to be no SS at all.
