It's a moot point now anyway. As I said, I don't think Cruz will have any part in a Trump administration nor do I think he's on the list for a Court appointment.
If he wants to rise, he'll need to make his bones in the Senate, assuming Texans will keep him.
Just as Trump is a different type of political candidate so is Ted Cruz....and make no mistake Trump is political and has been his entire life.
If one goes all the way back to see the trajectory Cruz has been on you also see not only an agenda but a clear motive....and it’s not just being successful in his vocations, (which all men desire), but a clear headed mindset regarding our country, it’s people and the Constitution.
Trump has been toying around with running for political office for a good part of his life. He’s never taken a position of office where what he claims now he could have made a difference, or for that matter even when he was a demorat all those years. So why didn’t he?
I don’t think Cruz is at all concerned about what’s ahead should he not be the nominee, the target is the Presidency and no doubt he’s looking at the general election ahead once the primary is a done deal.
I’m also sure he and his wife considered what he would do if he did not meet his target BEFORE he declared his run. So all the talk about where he will be, even now, is really what is moot....race is still on ...there is no nominee.
