The Catholic Church has had problems, but to suggest that it’s “shocking” that the Pope is opposed to sexual abuse is anti-Catholic bigotry.
I’m a Catholic, but I find it hard to defend a Pope who picks and chooses his battles with “Who am I to judge?”.
Why is he judging the monster who perpetrated this evil? Oh, because it is easy and not controversial. I wish he would show this pluck when the eternal fate of billions of souls is at stake.
