Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz said on Sunday he would continue his campaign if he lost the critical Indiana primary on Tuesday.
"If you don't win in Indiana under these circumstances, is this race over?" asked "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace.
"Of course not," Cruz said. "It's going to be a battle to see who can earn a majority of the delegates elected by the people at the convention. And the reason Donald is so frantic to say the race is over ... is because Donald knows he cannot earn a majority of the delegates that were elected by the people.

Can’tcha just see Ted on the Titanic, as it’s going down, “Ah, it’s a tiny leak. Have it fixed in a minute.”
Cruz won’t concede defeat even after the new President is sworn in.
“No you don’t!” (WHAP!)
“I started out liking Cruz. As time has gone by, Ive opened my eyes. I just watched this interview with Chuck Todd. Im surprised someone hasnt lunged for his throat. Honestly, what an obnoxious ass. He doesnt win debates - people just get fed up trying to have a normal discussion with him.”
The same goes with his supporters here and other places.
You are right to point that out.
The precise reason his records are sealed. Thanks for the update.
Once Hillary wipes the mat with Trump this year, Cruz can run in 2020 and be more seasoned like happened with Reagan in 1980.
I don’t want a Hillary win because she will continue the damage started by Obama. I just think it will happen.
Trump is already tied with Hillary and he hasn’t even laid a glove on her yet. When The Donald is done with her there’ll be nothing left of Hillary but a greasy little spot.
That's All Folks
Why are his records sealed? (Google it)
I recall hearing a snarky pundit on TV saying that even with 1237 Trump couldn’t count on winning the first floor vote, because who knows, certain delegates might sleep in or something, and not show up to vote.
I can’t remember who said it, but it stuck with me and has me worrying that even if Trump does earn 1237, it won’t translate into 1237 votes on the floor.
Cruz mother had access to Canadian health care system, had a card, only citizens can get that card and coverage, bet on that as proof positive.
How did Cruz get so radicalized?

When someone reaches the “I can’t watch him, this is embarrassing” level, its time to pack in..
I've been wondering if that was something that Cruz and the GOPE had been trying to accomplish, by having many (most) of the delegates that Trump "won" and who are bound to him, simply not show up for the first round (along with the alternates).
I know the rule which says that a bound delegate cannot vote for someone other than the candidate he's bound to, and if he does the vote will be counted towards the candidate he's bound to. But I'm not sure if the rule explicitly covers the case of the delegate AND his alternate not showing up.
This primary season is making me painfully aware that sometimes one’s circumstances mean one CANNOT admit to certain possibilities, as the admission alone seriously undermines the goal. Of course Cruz says a loss in Indiana won’t stop him - if he does, then that pokes a hole in his campaign’s balloon ... and balloons with holes don’t last long at all. Did anyone seriously expect Baghdad Bob to say “why yes, the Americans are utterly crushing Saddam’s forces!” when doing so would, say, get him shot? Cruz is going to act upbeat until it’s over; I expect nothing less.
That translates to a lot of situations, unfortunately, and bizarrely our culture is obsessed with persuading the opposition to say what we view the situation as, when making that statement would absolutely eviscerate their stance. For example, you’ll NEVER get the pro-abortion crowd to admit, no matter how you talk them into the logical conclusion “because life begins at conception, destroying an embryo is murder”, they’ll never equate abortion with murder precisely because that would mean they (or many they are close to) are murderers - something they’ll never admit to.
But I digress...
It’s just astounding that several judges have found Cruz to be eligible.
Love it!
