Those who support Cruz believes he is the most conservative candidate There are times and places where voting for the most conservative candidate doesn't advance the cause of conservatism or help the Republican Party.

Very true, just look at Nixon, he won with overwhelming numbers.

And then he expanded the FEDERAL G'ment with new and better departments. Dept. of Education, EPA, etc. What new additional Federal G'ment dept. will we see under The Donald, The Federal WALL Dept. of course will be the first, and while I too agree that it is needed, It simply represents more tyranny and less Constitutional freedom.

I really do HOPE that doesn’t happen, Dan.

I don’t think Trump will do so. I really believe he’ll CUT, not expand, government.

The reason I say this is because Trump didn’t start a wave; he’s RIDING one. Who started the wave? We did. Same folks who started the TEA Party movement. We WANT, nay DEMAND government be cut back.

If Trump goes against THAT, he’ll be left in the next trough, and someone else can ride the wave.
