LOL! Thanks for the reminder about MAD Magazine, knarf. I really enjoyed that in my youth. It brings back memories of an elementary school buddy who would bring it to school for us to look at and laugh about. He would draw some of the sketches and add his humor to them. (Very creative guy…sheesh, I wonder whatever happened to him)

I liked the fold over back pages that completely changed an illustration by tri-folding the thing back on itself

Mad was probably the biggest influence on me to use and enjoy my mind and imagination ... and we kids were the only ones that "got it"

That's why they HAD to invent Viet Nam ...
