No need to agonize over the precise meaning of NBC.

Actually no, since all the other presidents except Obama seemed to have it down. (born in US to two citizen parents)

Even Obama knew he needed to be born in the US, hence his change of stated birthplace and a forged birth certificate.

Neither parent was an American citizen. Cruz’s mom renounced her American citizenship to become a Canadian citizen. Canada did not reconize dual citizenship.

I have never seen the evidence that mom ever renounced her American citizenship, but I think it would be a serious mistake for the United States to let some foreign country like Canada determine for us who is and who is not a natural born citizen. We are a sovereign nation and we can decide for ourselves who is and who is not a natural born citizen. But, again, that is just my opinion. You're of course entitled to believe what you wish.

I believe that Cruz is a natural born citizen.

He is/was....in Canada.

However, I am only one of the millions of judges with an opinion.

Yes, an opinion that fights with truth.

You told me that I was "flat-out wrong."

You are. You don't have facts, only speculation.

I told you that your opinion is as valuable as mine.

This isn't "opinion."

Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution states: "No Person except a natural born Citizen ... shall be eligible to the Office of President."

And, from that you conclude that I am the one guilty of condescension.

Yes, your post was full of condescension. That doesn't work on me.

“I think you and I just differ on the meaning of natural born citizen. I think it means citizenship at birth and you probably have a more complicated definition.”

By your definition, he is also a Natural Born Citizen of Cuba. Actually more Cuban than American as his mother had renounced her US citizenship 2 years before his birth.

His mother had been a US citizen, but was Canadian at the time as per the Canadian government records.

Sorry, but the Constitution doesn’t apply to illegal immigrants who fraudulently pretend to be US citizens. I am not saying that you might not prevail however, given the state of corruption that exists.

Ted is an immigrant.

Door #1 - Pandering
Door #2 - Idiocy on display

A hard choice, but I'll go with Door #1 as she really wants power sharing with immigraTED.

Maybe she just didn't realize how deep the hole she just dug really is.
Will she stop or continue digging is the question.

Well, we agree on the standard - “natural born Citizen.” I suspect you disagree with me as to the definition of that term, but again, that is okay by me.

Heidi admits to working 80 hours per week, both at her Goldman Sachs job, from which she is on leave, and currently as bagman for Wall Street hedge fund managers' contributions to the campaign, as Heidi has extensive business connections there as Managing Director of Goldman Sachs for years (she was promoted by Goldman Sachs from Vice President to Managing Director immediately after Ted won his Texas senate seat.)

She has said (it's in video on YouTube) that the girls are raised by a nanny (perhaps more than one) and she recommends all working mothers have a nanny raise their kids.

Most of their marriage, Ted and Heidi have not lived together. Since becoming senator, Ted's visits Heidi and their daughters at Heidi's Houston home. Heidi and Ted have said their daughters, when Ted visits, call him, "the guest."

"A better future for our children..." Hmmmm

What part of "sealed records" do you not understand? Cruz has his records sealed.

but I think it would be a serious mistake for the United States to let some foreign country like Canada determine for us who is and who is not a natural born citizen.

We are in the midst of an Obama transformation where the Rule of Law has been thrown out the window. It is not being brought up because Cruz is not a threat to the Ruling Class; in fact, he's one of them.

I leave it to the Cubans to decide who is or is not a natural born citizen of Cuba. It is none of my business what they do.

If his records are sealed, then there must be something to hide. If I were running, I could go to the safe deposit box and get the certified copy of my birth certificate issued by the state of Missouri. The same one I have had to provide on a number of occasions in my iife that were no where near as important as running for president. Easy. No sweat. Nothing to hide.

Canada doesn't do that now. Why would you think they did?

Well, we agree on the standard

I don't agree with you on anything.
You are conflating and confusing natural-born citizen - i.e. born of two U.S. parents on U.S. soil or her territories or embassies - with that of a legal immigrant who goes through the process and becomes a naturalized U.S. citizen.

One can only be a natural born citizen if one is SOLELY a US citizen and nothing else.

Canadians are as ineligible as British subjects.

If there are people who pretend to know what “sealed records” say, I am not of them. I have no special access to any “sealed records” for anyone. I continue to deal with the evidence that I can see or hear.
