Can you blame them for 24/7 MSM and Cruz campaign horse feces spewing how he’s a violent second coming of Hitler racist who hates women? Glad the correct side has come out the winner in that messaging battle.

I used to debate Kyle in high school (the journalist of this piece). Glad to see he’s reporting some good news.
I hope much madness has departed from both groups. It was getting literally “damned” ugly and the temptation to hit below the belt gripped and moved both groups.
Both Trump and Cruz were sore tested. I think Cruz would be happier in a non presidential role. He wanted to be a servant of God, but God had appointed him to serve in a different post. In the meantime, Trump has at least some vague idea of serving the people. He may not do it well at first, but he improves as he grasps the situation. It’s up to the people in this situation whether, and how, they wish to serve God. Whether they want to defend fig leaves or whether they want to bow to a larger transformation.
His supporters aren’t not ‘chillaxing’ until President Trump is sworn in.
Ted Cruz’s demise is just a road apple.
Any lack of chillax with the Trump supporters is due to an anti-American-voter attempt to deny the voters their choice.
Or, looked at another way, a fever is not actually the sickness itself, but the immune system's reaction to a malicious foreign invasive entity, including mutations of its own cells.
Parse it as you want. I would say, though, that the disease is not in the Trump supporters. Rather, Trump supporters are like fathers defending their families from a hoard of invasive marauding rabid raccoons in our back yard. It's the raccoons that are rabid, sick, fevered and frothing. We may be sweating, but only from clubbing the rabid animals, or running to grab our guns. Perspiration is sweat, but not fever.
As an example of a rabid feverish raccoon, turn to George Will's latest piece of foaming drool. Now that's a fever. And that's not a 'Trump supporter seeing a path to victory.'
There has been a fever, and a disease, and a lull in the fever. But better to understand which parts of the analogy apply to which players. Fevers subside when the disease is losing and retreating, or skittering away out of cowardice, if only temporarily.
That would not be those who support Trump's candidacy, ideas or policies.

My observation is that things have improved considerably here on FR since numerous resident Cruz-berserkers & disruptors were given well-deserved `time outs’. If there was a problem here, you could be sure there was a Felitoteeto or Felitoteeta stirring things up.
