I gave Rush a listen the other day for the first time in awhile. I heard a union member call in to say why the rank and file membership were going Trump in large numbers. Rush listened to him, then more or less mocked Trump supporters by saying they think Trump is the messiah, the miracle worker, or something very similar. He certainly didn’t like what the union worker was telling him.
I’ll miss Rush - had been a ditto head for a long time.
I know what you’re saying. He’s been a part of my afternoons for years. I don’t need him to support Trump—but I wish he’d relay all the hard facts of the treacheries if the ruling class. A big story is the great primary opponent Ryan has. Rush behaves as if he’s never even heard about it—and that is a big favor to the Establishment. We need the whole truth, not more treachery.
Yes, he said we thought of him as the messiah. Ridiculous; there is only one and it is not Mr. Trump. Rush wants Cruz as the nominee. To use a Rushism: I get that. But we don’t always get what we want but we often get what we need. We are not choosing Gods here, we are choosing men who will enter the WH for 4 years. Let’s hope Trump can pull it off and our country will be better off because of it.
And if he doesn’t? Well, we have 4 more years to think of a better person. Enough with the hysteria, Rush.
Rush’s reaction is pathetic. When was the last time you heard union members voicing their support for a GOP candidate? Reagan was able to make significant gains in the working class and union families against Carter. And Rush the fat rich baby wants to soil all over this? Take your cigars Rush and &*^%$ it.
Cruz is poison and could end up pulling down all who affiliate with him. Future victims could include National Review and the credibility of Rich Lowry and Bozell, Beck and the financial decline of his network, and maybe even Rush.
Similarly, I hadn’t listened to Rush in awhile and then a few months ago, hubby started tuning in again only to discover that for the first time in almost 25 years - we were not on the same page as Rush.
I have seen Rush go back and forth and even defend Romney. I hope he comes to his senses soon and gives up on Cruz. Rush is out for Rush - fine so is everyone else, but Rush needs to realize that his Institute has done its job - we think for ourselves even when we disagree with him.
