It reminds me of the Sandra Fluk deal. Rush rightly warned us to look out for the gender card, and sure enough it came. But then Rush dug into Sandra Fluk, calling her a slut - and guess what, HE STEPPED RIGHT INTO IT, losing listeners and many, many, advertisers, and also hurt the GOP effort in that year.

Over the course of many years of listening to Rush ridiculing liberal women’s looks and age, I had to repress my inner voice asking: “What self-confident male constantly ridicules women’s looks?” Answer: none. Is this the way to win over hearts and minds? He reveled in spewing out these unfunny and unappealing toxins. All the more ridiculous since Rush is no Adonis. Far from it. I’m ashamed that I ignored that inner voice for so many years. The Sandra Fluke fiasco finally blew this out of the water. I agree that it boosted the war-on-women meme and Obama’s reelection.
Trump slipped up once in his comment about Fiorina’s looks at the beginning of his campaign. But he apologized (a rarity for him) and never repeated the mistake again. He now praises any woman who comes into the conversation, including Carly. That’s called being a smart, quick learner. And a confident attractive male.
However, Trump won’t be praising Hillary, of course. He’s going to wipe the floor with her. But I don’t think he’ll go after her age or her looks. No way.
