Different states have different rules, but Trump has not been cheated of delegates. Trump has actually gotten a higher percentage of delegates than he’s gotten votes. In other words, he got 47% of the vote in Florida and 100% of the delegates. He got 60% of the vote in NY and around 95% of the delegates.
I’m tired of hearing him talk about how the system is rigged. If anything, it’s rigged in favor of Trump. For much of the time, non-Trump votes were split between a lot of other candidates, so he was able to benefit the most from winner-take-all states. He’s also gotten a huge amount of free air time not made available to other candidates.
