It was more a “who I’m voting for”.
Similar to Giuliani's endorsement of Trump.
Everyone is on eggshells. I suspect that Pence likes Cruz just fine, but doesn't want to attract the "Eye of Sauron" that Trump can be at times.

Trump needs Cruz like he needs another hole in the head. BTW Cru-lose-zers have been pretty nasty to Trump supporters on this forum; payback is hell. Trump will do well with or without help from globalists like Cruz. AMERICA FIRST!

Do you get the feeling like this was supposed to be a BIGGER event for Cruz?
Trump stomps last Tuesday, and to try to wrestle back media coverage you announce your VP pick when you are allready mathematically eliminated.
Trump gets the endorsement of Coach Bobby, who actually says “Endorse” so Cruz gets the sitting Governor who can’t say the word and who is in all sense riding the fence.
Man! That has got to hurt.
