I happened to pick up on Cruz a few minutes on Kelly Megyn. Pathetic. I mean out right pathetic. And more pathetic was that Jeb Bush talking again about how Trump will lose.
Am I in a fog here? Isn’t this the way it goes?
CAndidates line up to win the party nomination, then once the guy or gal wins, they coalesce around the person, and we unite. You mean to tell me these sore losers right to the convention are going to not support the winner?
To hell with all of them. All of them.
How can someone attract that many people in short order in California no less, unless he’s someone unique and a winner?
Everything about, Trump, the man rings with success. If you turn off the media, which I’ve done, and just get the spirit of what is happening from FR, it’s great.
Our meeting here each day brings me sanity.
The past few weeks Cruz’s behavior has gotten more and more bizarre.
I can think of nothing that would explain his behavior, from the association with Beck to Romney and the White Horse prophecy to the lying about Carson dropping out, the lies in Chicago, the back stabbing in Maine, now with Kasich.
Blatant lies on national TV about Donald Trump’s positions continually.
I’m beginning to feel like I’m in an alternate universe.
Well, let’s see.....first, he hasn’t won yet. He’s on the way to winning, but it’s not official. Until it’s official, anything can happen.
Second, just because someone is a winner, and different from everyone else, doesn’t make them the right person. I mean, Hillary is winning, but we don’t want to back her, right? Obama was a winner, too.
Hopefully there’s no topless protesters today.
Some of the establishment Republicans are still in denial about Trump. This has shaken them to their very core and they are clinging to the hope, increasingly slim, that a way will be found to deny Trump the nomination. This is a nightmare and an utter catastrophe for the establishment GOPe.
It is for them like this: Imagine you work for a company and have spent your entire career there learning the system and having connections with everybody up to the CEO. Most of the people in the company are mediocre and thus you feel your position in the company is secure and you can just maintain your position and stay on cruise control until retirement. Your company is a distant number 2 in your industry but you don’t mind. No pressure, no worries. Just show up and you are assured of a comfortable and secure job with no heavy lifting.
Then one morning you come to work and find out your CEO just got fired. The incoming CEO has a reputation as a hard-nosed businessman who has no toleration for mediocrity and slackers. He promises to make your company number one in the industry and vows to clean house and bring in top talent from the outside.
Suddenly your whole comfortable little world is turned upside down and you begin to panic about what lies ahead. Further you worry that the new CEO will realize that you are deadweight and have been mailing it in all these years. Your position is in real jeopardy. You wish this was a bad dream and that you will wake up to the way things were before.
This is what the establishment GOPe is going through right now. The jig is up.
The GOP CANT BE TRUSTED. Trust these snakes at your own peril. Despite a growing outward “acceptance” of Trump as the nominee (e.g., Boehner’s recent Lucifer comments), that may be designed to get us to stay home in July instead of making a road trip to Cleveland. I suspect the plan is to pull something on the convention floor with the bribed delegates who put money before country.
About the only way that horrific scenario could be prevented would be to have enough of us show up in Cleveland all week to make them stand down and change their plans. And they know that.
If this is true, the size and (peaceful but forceful) volume of our crowd outside the Cleveland convention may be even MORE important than that group of people who banged on the door in Florida when the Dems were trying to “recount the hanging chads” behind closed doors.
I think the reason we aren’t seeing Indiana polls is that the media is trying to work with the #NeverTrump crowd to setup Cruz for “another Wisconsin”.
They have Pence this afternoon and they’re starting their Cruz surging crap. I also think VP pick wasn’t just Cruz’s idea. The GOP wanted a reason for their big Ted turnaround narrative. This is all typical media propaganda and needs to be exposed.
I think Trump has finally started internal polling so he at least will see some of the BS as it’s put forth.
I heard Giulianni on Trump few days ago, and he has know him for years. He Said one thing certain about Trump, is that he loves to succeed. That is why he will succeed as president, without a doubt. Trump will do what he says he will do, because it is a point of success for him.
