Anyone can say anything. He's trying to rev up the voter base by saying the right things, and he's succeeded.

He's been a New York liberal his whole life. Are we so desperate for someone, anyone, to represent us that we are hitching on to his wagon because he sounds good, no matter his track record?

Personally, I feel like I'm being worked by him. I wish I could believe him but I don't.

Reality check: This party’s last five nominees were Rmoney, an Obama clone for all policy purposes; McCain, the clinically insane enemy spy; Bush Jr. twice, whose ugly legacy still haunts us and elects Democrats today; Bob Dole, Viagra spokesman, because it was his turn to lose or something; and former CIA Director Bush, whose hands set the miserable course for the party for the next quarter-century.

Let’s face it: like him or not, Trump is easily the best nominee either party has had since Reagan.
